Matthew Antoci is a queer creator and performer going "full diva mode" in New York City. Their work, which has been called "supremely confident" and "a delicious hot mess" by critics, exists in various mediums, including multi-media performance, theatre, and drag.

Matthew has shown original work onstage at The Exponential Festival, The Brick, We Are Here, IRT Theater, Purgatory, The Kraine, and Celebration Barn, as well as performed at CultureLab LIC, Connecticut Rep, and across the internet. Their original show, I AM MY OWN MILF, had a sold-out run at the FRIGID Fringe Festival in 2023, winning three festival awards and the award for Outstanding Devising from the Young-Howze Theatre Journal. Matthew was an artist-in-residence at IRT Theater with collaborator Hillary Gao in August 2023, working on their piece Babies on the Street: the Show, which will premiere at The Brick in July 2024. They are also a part of the experimental performance collective, CHILD.

In addition to their own work in live performance, Matthew collaborates with many artists at different stages of development, often wearing the hats of director, dramaturg, producer, or facilitator interchangeably. Matthew is also a curator with a passion for DIY and experimental performance and is on the curation team for the Obie-winning Brick Theater.

Matthew is sometimes a freelance dialect coach and astrologer. Their current artistic interests include Italian Americans, daytime television, and the work of Stephen Varble. They are an unapologetic Chekhov stan, and (for similar reasons) are obsessed with The Real Housewives. Matthew is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns.
