Matthew Antoci is a multi-disciplinary performer and writer based in New York City. They work in various mediums, including multi-media devised theater, internet performance, and drag. Matthew has performed onstage at venues such as CultureLab LIC, The Tank, The Kraine, the Ballard Museum of Puppetry, and Connecticut Repertory Theatre, as well as in various drag cabarets and across the internet. In 2023, their original plays I AM MY OWN MILF will be featured in the New York FRIGID Fringe Festival, and wwwbringbackjeffreydotcom will be presented as part of the ?!:New Works series at The Brick. In the spring, Matthew will be an artist-in-residence at the Celebration Barn in Paris, ME, with collaborator Meaghan Robichaud.


In addition to their performance work, Matthew is a freelance dialect coach and astrologer. They are a co-founder of the Cinnamon Summer Series and have facilitated the devised website experiment The Fires We Don't See in 2020, as well as produced and directed the company’s inaugural production, Much Ado About Nothing, in the summer of 2019. Matthew received the George B. Wallis Award for Acting while studying theatre, performance, and political science at the University of Connecticut.


Matthew's current artistic interests include queer glamor, fat dramaturgies, and daytime television. They are also an unapologetic Chekhov stan, and (for similar reasons) are obsessed with The Real Housewives of New York City. Matthew is genderqueer/non-binary and uses they/them pronouns.
